The BIMA 12CO(1–0) contours are overlaid onto the gravitational torque map computed from the Spitzer-IRAC 3.6 μm image. As for Fig. 22, the torque map (color scale) is plotted on a symmetric palette (wedge), and is deprojected and rotated so that the major axis of the galaxy is oriented parallel to the abscissa Ox.
