Observed spectra of the N_KaKc = 7₀₇ ← 6₁₆, J = 7 ← 6 (F₂ component) rotational transition of the CHD radical produced in dc glow discharge (~20 mA) using CH₂D₂ as precursor recorded a) without magnetic field applied and b) with a magnetic field of only 15 Gauss applied. Inset c): same transition detected using CH₄ and CD₄ as precursors, about five times less intense. These spectra were recorded by integrating 36 scans with 0.5 Hz repetition rate and 10 ms time constant of the lock-in amplifier.
