The heating of asymmetrical grains, aligned with the magnetic field (thin, gray, lines) will vary with the angle Ψ. If only a fraction of the grains are alignable, we can use the variations in the dust temperature to estimate the fraction of aligned grains or the axes ratio of these asymmetric grains.
