Sky (top), reference (middle) and difference (bottom) signals from radiometer LFI27M. The modulation is due to the thermal effect induced by the satellite transponder being turned on and off for the daily downlink early in the mission. The quasi-sinusoidal ~0.1% fluctuation in the sky and reference signals is almost completely removed in the differenced data.
