Dependence of the FWHM on the electron density for a full plasma simulation considering ions and electrons in the case of pure He plasma and for an one-component plasma considering only electrons. Different temperatures were considered in both cases. Two dashed lines with the unity slope corresponding to the electronic broadening at low densities illustrate the behaviour predicted by the impact approximation. The difference between the pure electronic plasma results and the impact estimation illustrates the departure of the impact behaviour.
