X-ray image of AB Dor taken on 2009 November 25 and 26 with XMM-Newton’s MOS1 camera with a total exposure time of 58 ksec. Clearly, AB Dor A and Rst 137B are only moderately resolved by XMM-Newton. The red and green circles show our extraction regions used for AB Dor A and Rst 137B. Brightness scaling is linear, contour levels are plotted at 300, 600, 1600, and 2400 counts/bin.
