X-Shooter dereddened spectrum of PMNJ1603-4904, along with 2MASS photometry and optical photometry (Müller et al. 2014; magenta, triangles with error bars) . The data were dereddened using the parametrization of Fitzpatrick (1999) and the E(B−V) of Schlafly & Finkbeiner (2011). We superimposed on the spectra a continuum made by two power laws of index −0.4 and −1.1 in blue and a blackbody at T = 1600 K (red). The blackbody cannot reproduce the spectrum at wavelengths shorter than ~12 000 Å.
