Band-pass corrections derived from two red galaxy templates (dotted dashed red lines) from Greisel et al. (2013). These templates are adopted as standard reference SED for the LRG sample used to derive the scaling factors pLRG that convert the Planck radiance map to reddening values (see Sect. 3.4). The first is used to calibrate the z = [0.15−0.25] sample, the second to calibrate both the z = [0.25−0.3] and z = [0.3−0.35] samples. The pLRG obtained for the three samples are shown by the black dots with the plotted values corresponding to bpcLRG = pB5/pLRG where the optimal pB5 is found to be equal to 5.54 × 105 m2 sr W-1. The median band-pass correction bpcP14 = 1.018 (see Fig. 4) is also plotted in blue for reference.
