In the legend we give the total torque averaged over the last 50 orbits. Owing to the turbulence in the VSI disc the torque strongly fluctuates, while for the α-disc the evolution is much smoother. The oscillations in the last panel for the 100 M⊕ planet are due to the presence of a vortex.
