Top: orientation of the time-averaged orbital plane, defined by the angular momentum angles (ϕ, θ) for the different dwarfs for the various potentials. The colours and error bars are the same as in Fig. 22, and open and solid circles are the median values obtained by including or excluding our estimate of the systematic error on the PMs. Most dwarfs have highly inclined orbits with respect to the Galactic plane (i.e. θ ~ 90o). Their variation in orientation (angle ϕ) over the 10 Gyr of integration is much smaller than the size of the error bars. Bottom: histogram showing the present-day inclination of the orbits for the globular clusters.
