Acceleration of entrained grains of a0 = 10 μm: wherever there is at least one particle with vr < vr,esc, the area is colored in dark blue; if all grains have reached vr > vr,esc, it is yellow; cyan areas are not traversed by any grains of this size. Even for these comparatively large grains, vr,esc is reached well within the computational domain (if at all).
