Polarization degree (top) and polarization position angle (bottom) from our AGN model. The black line corresponds to a bright quasar. In this case, the host galaxy contributes ∼5% of the total light along type 1 inclinations (i ≤ 45°). The long-dashed gray line corresponds to the exact same quasar, but ten times fainter. The small fluctuations in P are due to statistical noise.
