Notes. The range of α and νfrag is further discussed in Sect. 2.4. We note that M, R, and Teff refer to the parameters of a star, not of the disc. The initial stellar mass M has to be changed according to alpha to ensure that it approaches 1 M⊙ at the end of the simulation.
