Notes. The number of pixels per spectrum (“#” in the column headings) is set to 2 for all runs. In addition to the listed parameters, the minimum redshift of the Lyα forest is taken to be z = 2. Here, η is the angular density of sources and Lpix is the radial length of the voxels. S/N is the ratio of the expected standard deviation of the coefficients to the standard deviation of the estimator for the coefficients.
