Our galaxy targeted limits for S190814bv, alongside the equivalent AT2017gfo KN models. Due to the different distances of the observed galaxies, the data and models are presented in absolute magnitudes. For limits below the model lines, our observations would have uncovered a transient comparable to AT2017gfo, had it been present. We also show the apparent magnitude of the data and models when shifted to the luminosity distance of S190814bv (267 Mpc). Foreground extinction is not included.
