VLT/HAWK-I image of a galaxy targeted field. A number of catalogued galaxies (and at least one uncatalogued galaxy likely at the same redshift) are visible in the field. The insets show each individual galaxy as well as the resulting subtraction, demonstrating the absence of variable sources to the limits of the data in any of these possible host galaxies. Each galaxy inset is labelled by the HyperLEDA identifier from the GLADE catalogue, and the corresponding limiting magnitudes are listed in Table B.1.
