Notes. The distribution of the total number of Galactic VHE γ-ray sources N and their combined luminosity L and flux F. The luminosities are characterised by the mean and standard deviation as this quantity is almost symmetrically distributed over the different realisations. In contrast, the median and quartile deviation are used as a more robust description of the total flux F, whose distribution is strongly affected by outliers that stem from (rare) nearby sources.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
