RV series on the quiet star HD 85512 (K6V, V = 7.65 mag) obtained with ESPRESSO while cycling through the various UTs. Individual exposures of 600 s are shown. Error bars are essentially constant, demonstrating that the UTs have similar throughputs. The RV dispersion is compatible with the photon-noise induced RV error of about 18 cm s−1 rms and with possible residual stellar p-modes that can be present even on late-type stars at this level of precision.
