The classification is mostly based on the stellarity index, near-IR JK_s, and optical ur bands. The QSO redshifts use all the NIR bands and most of the optical ones, but also the morphological parameters. The galaxy redshifts are based practically only on the optical gri magnitudes. Colors and ratios of the same magnitude pairs have a different importance.
