Online tool: example of extinction-density image. Here the normal to the plane of the image is defined by its Galactic coordinates (0, −90) and the origin of the image is defined by its distance from the Sun r = 100 pc and its Galactic coordinates (0, 90). As a result, we show the image of the dust in a plane parallel to the mid-plane and it is displaced by 100 pc to the south. We note that in this example we attempted an inversion up to five kpc.
