E(B − V) over the RoI at the native 5′ resolution of the Planck/IRAS map, and surface brightness of the DGL (cirrus) in the VIS and J bands. The two islands (smaller parts of the RoI) collect the worst areas of the Euclid sky due to the combined presence of cirrus and the proximity of the Galactic plane.
