Measurement and fits of the variance (C00) and the two nearest neighbor covariances (C10 and C01) for the four channels of sensor 42. The channels have been offset for visual convenience. The decay of C00/µ with µ, originally noted in Downing et al. (2006), is the most obvious effect of the BF effect. The spread of measurements is compatible with shot noise.
