Comparison with observations of the expected γ-ray surface brightness radial profile for the Kraichnan (upper panel) and Bohm (bottom panel) cases. Black squares correspond to the measurements by Fermi-LAT (Aharonian et al. 2019), while purple circles indicate the surface brightness observed by HAWC (Abeysekara et al. 2021). Grey squares represent Fermi-LAT measurements rescaled by a factor of 2. Diamonds and crosses indicate the surface brightness values based on our model, at energies of 10 < Eγ < 316 GeV and 1 < Eγ < 251 TeV respectively.
