Effective shape noise as a function of cluster-centric distances stacked in bins of cluster redshift (panels: lowest redshift left, higher redshift right) and of richness (color coding). Despite significant scattering, increasing toward the cluster center, a trend of lower-shaped noise toward the center is visible. As gray horizontal lines, the effective shape noise in the field, used for the semi-analytical covariance of the shear profiles, is shown.
