Improved distribution of the 12 opacity bins based on the results of Collet et al. (2018). The Rosseland optical depth at the monochromatic photosphere, τλ = 1, in the average 3D (〈3D〉) reference atmosphere is plotted against the wavelength, where each bin has been assigned a different colour. This representation is for a model with Teff=4500 K, log = 5.0 and [Fe/H]= +0.0.
