Hess diagram of the tiles in between the LMC and the SMC. Each pixel is 0.02 × 0.05 mag in size. We note that to preserve the readability of the figure we do not overlap any isochrone to it as the CMD contains both LMC and SMC stars, which are therefore placed at two different distance moduli and have different metallicities.
