Table 1.
Comparison between the reference CLES model and the fiducial barotropic model presented in Section 3.
| Zone | Γ1 | Radius | Mass | Density | Pressure |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Convective core | 1.6460 | < 10−10% | < 10−10% | 0.08% | 0.06% |
| Radiative region, | 5/3 | < 10−10% | 9.3 ⋅ 10−10% | 1.3 ⋅ 10−8% | −7.2% |
| correct BCE | |||||
| Radiative region, | 5/3 | < 10−10% | 0.56% | 8.2% | 7.3% |
| fiducial |
Notes. This comparison is done by means of the expression (xCLES−xfiducial)/xCLES, where x is the position, mass, density, and pressure at the boundaries of the zones depending on the column. The second row presents the values achieved when fitting the correct radius and mass at the base of the convective envelope (Section 3.2). In contrast, the last row displays the values obtained when aiming for the correct total stellar mass and radius (Section 3.2).
