Filaments in a 30′-diameter box south of LMC X-1 in the intermediate X-ray band 0.7–1.1 keV. We show an exposure-corrected image, smoothed with a 15′′ Gaussian kernel. The blue ellipses highlight the approximate size and orientation of the identified structures.
