1D slice at X ≈ 8.20 Mm through the vertical magnetic field, Bz, at z = 4 Mm shows that the speckled high frequencies capture wave dissipation across the swirl boundary between Y ≈ 1.76 Mm and Y ≈ 4.69 Mm. The viscous heating, Qvisc, also correlates with this conclusion. The sliced region is emphasised by the yellow box in the left panels, and the damped oscillation region is highlighted in red on the right panels.
