Surface stellar (orange; this work) and gas (blue; Broeils & Van Woerden 1994) mass density profiles of NGC 3486. The stellar mass density profile shows an edge feature at 205″ ± 5″ (gray band), which coincides with the radius at which the gas profile also decays more rapidly.
