Difference in GP predictive mean from pixel-fitting the second eclipse due to fitting for independent pixel systematics. Pixels affected by the strong cosmic ray persistence effect from Figure 1 are highlighted in orange. By fitting for independent pixel systematics the shape of this persistence effect is modelled by the GP and these pixels are also weighted away from.
