Summary of differences between VLMS discs and TTS discs in this work. For the purposes of this comparison, we assumed a TTS model with the typically measured ionisation rate of ~10−18 s−1 and an average RC,0 = 16 au. We assumed that the VLMS has a more compact disc of RC,0 = 5 au subject to an unexcluded galactic CR ionisation rate of ~10−17 s−1.
