VLBA 2001 (Torrelles et al. 2014), BeSSeL VLBA 2011, and global VLBI 2023 observations of the water masers toward VLA 2. Colored dots and squares have the same meaning as in Fig. 1. Colored triangles report the absolute positions of the water masers observed with three epochs of VLBA observations by Torrelles et al. (2014). White arrows represent the absolute proper motions of the water masers, with the velocity scale shown in the bottom left of the panel. Only the proper motions with directions accurate within 45° are plotted. The color map is the same as in Fig. 2. The two dashed white lines indicate the jet direction, labeled Raxi, and the perpendicular to the jet, Rper.
