Radial surface brightness profiles of NGC 1494 in the K_s band, derived from 2MASS, VHS, and KEDFS images using the Gnuas-tro ASTSCRIPT-RADIAL-PROFILE script. The KEDFS profile extends smoothly to fainter levels (reaching ~27.7 mag arcsec^-2), demonstrating both the superior depth of the survey and the effectiveness of the NASIM pipeline in preserving LSB features in the galaxy’s outskirts.
