Notes. Fluxes are quoted in units of 10−18 erg s−1 cm−2, and values in square brackets show the integrated line S/N. Velocities are quoted in units of km s−1. The [O III] λλ 4959,5007 doublet is constrained to have a flux ratio of [O III] λ 5007/[O III] λ 4959 = 2.98; the tabulated fluxes are for [O III] λ 5007. The constrained Hα model fluxes are FHα, min, with this model constrained such that Hα has the same velocity dispersion as [O III] λ 5007, vσ. The unconstrained Hα model fluxes and velocity dispersions are listed as FHα, max and vσ,Hα,max, which assume no contribution from [N II] λλ 6548,6584 to the blended line. For the undetected Hβ flux in region 1 and the [N II] λλ 6548,6584 fluxes in regions 1 and 3, the 3σ limits are from the rescaled ERR array accounting for the quasar subtraction uncertainty (Section 2.3.3). For regions 2 and 4, where there is tentative evidence of the presence of [N II] λλ 6548,6584, the table gives the [N II] λ 6584 flux as the measured residual after subtracting the constrained Hα model, but the result is treated as an upper limit. Our quoted F[N II]/FHα ratios use these [N II] λ 6584 upper limits with FHα, min to give an upper limit on the ratio. The central velocities vr are defined relative to the host central velocity at z = 5.901. Uncertainties on the velocity and velocity dispersion assume a measurement uncertainty of 0.5 wavelength elements, ±25 Å, which corresponds to 217 km s−1 at [O III] λ 5007. The velocity dispersions are the physical velocity widths, corrected for instrumental resolution (where FWHM vinst = 1966 ± 178 km s−1 for [O III] λ 5007 from Appendix B; these uncertainties are incorporated into the velocity-dispersion uncertainty).
