Halo mass functions of the three simulations, SMDPL (green), MDPL (orange) and BMDPL (purple) at z = 2.9. The predicted halo mass functions by Tinker et al. (2008) and Bocquet et al. (2016) are plotted in solid and dashed grey lines, respectively. Among the two predictions, Tinker et al. (2008) agree best with the simulations, while Bocquet et al. (2016) overestimate halo abundance below 1011 M⊙ and above 1014 M⊙.
