LDA projection of the WST coefficients of subregions with and without tidal tail injections. Trained with labeled subregions, WST-LDA is able to find a good division in low-dimensional space between the categories. The good separation indicates that it is possible to identify the presence of tidal structures in cirrus-rich areas from their single-band morphology.
