Representation of the 13 confirmed magnetic δ Sct stars known to date, categorised by magnetic field characterisation (colour) and field strength (symbol size). Orange lines correspond to CESAM2K20 evolutionary tracks (Manchon et al. 2025) for the mass range typical of δ Scuti stars with no above core overshooting (α = 0) and no magnetism included. The blue lines are the same, except with overshooting included following the Claret & Torres (2016) prescription (α = αCT). The approximate start and end of the MS are represented with dashed green and magenta lines, respectively, for the two types of tracks. The dashed red and blue lines correspond to the observationally constrained red and blue edges of the δ Sct instability region. Black points are non-magnetic reference stars from Murphy et al. (2019) classified as δ Sct stars.
