Comparisons between frost observations on Ralph/MVIC color images in the Cthulhu region reported by Bertrand et al. (2020) at Venera Terra (A), Virgil Fossae (C), Beatrice Fossae (E), and the southern part of the region (G) and the model outputs (right) assuming a baseline albedo of 0.67 for methane ice. This figure is the analog of Fig. 8, with all model parameters kept identical except that the albedo of CH₄ ice was set to its baseline value of 0.67 instead of 0.69.
