Distribution of the ratio of the velocity dispersion recovered using spherical JAM and generated using axisymmetric JAM, starting from the same 3D models. For oblates, this ratio is larger than unity, while for prolates most values are smaller than unity, showing that the two populations have different bias in the kinematics recovery when spherical model is assumed. The mean of this ratio for oblates is 1.020, and for prolates is 0.994.
