Comparison of the variability feature DRW τ eFEDS AGN included in our analysis, classified as AGN (2,995 objects, blue), and classified as non-variable galaxy (766 objects, pink), together with the non-variable galaxies that do not have an X-ray counterpart although they are in the eFEDS area (61,640 objects). The histograms are normalised by area to facilitate the comparison.
