NGC 4212 in the J-PLUS rSDSS filter before (panel a) and after (panel c) PSF subtraction. Panel b displays the PSF that was subtracted from panel a to create panel c, which also displays the residuals. In particular, we note that the brightest star is outside the left edge of the displayed regions. Since panel b does not contain noise, its color bar does not match those of the other panels.
