Inspection of the degeneracy between the column density and rotational temperature. This example is carried out on the HCl spectrum towards HGAL 285.264−00.049, observed in emission. Two components are fitted to model contributions from the core and outflow. In each run, all XCLASS/myXCLASSFit fit parameters are fixed, except for the column density, which is allowed to vary with the different fixed rotational temperatures.
