Comparison of UVB fluctuation fields allowed by the posteriors at redshifts, z = 5.8 (reionization has ended) and z = 5.9 (reionization is incomplete). The mean free path requirement for z = 5.8 (λ0 = 4 h−1cMpc) is much smaller than z = 5.9 (λ0 = 40 h−1cMpc), showing the effect of incomplete ionization on the UVB field.
