HELM galaxies are generally less star-forming than their non-dusty counterparts. We show the sSFR histograms of the control sample of non-dusty dwarfs (filled dark blue histogram), of the HELM-1σ sample (dashed green histogram), of the HELM-2σ sample (dash-dotted yellow histogram), and of the HELM-3σ sample (orange solid histogram). Coloured arrows indicate the median of the three samples and are slightly shifted vertically for clarity. All samples are limited to z < 1.
