Density of stars in the parameter phase of circularity, λz, versus metallicity, [Fe/H]. We first removed the disc stars with a circularity of λz > 0.8, then also removed the group of stars with λz > 0.3 and [Fe/H] > -1.2. The rest were kept as halo stars in our sample.
