NICER light curve of 4U 1556–60 from 0.5−8 keV with 8 s cadence after excluding residual background flaring features. Flux errors are not plotted and are typically about 5%. The stability of the flux observed in our NICER data justifies combining all observations to analyze spectral and timing properties. The light curve begins at MJD 60050.80902778.
