Invariant magnetic-field strength, b; the spatial magnetic-field components, Br and Bθ; and four-vector-potential component, Aϕ, over the polar angle at the initialization step (t = 0 M). Colors correspond to simulations K.60 (orange), K.80 (green), K.90 (blue), K.95 (magenta), and K.99 (red). In the middle row, the solid lines show Br and the dashed lines Bθ. We chose polar slices at radii close to the inner edge of the torus at rin = 20 M and at the pressure maximum in the tori at r = 50 M. Note that in columns going from left to right, i.e., radially outwards, the simulations with higher filling factors show increased magnetic-field strengths and extended magnetic field, both radially and in the polar-angle, especially at the inner edge of the torus.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
