Normalized polarized fluxes of a hot spot orbiting various compact metric models: Schwarzschild as full black lines, the boson star 2 model as dashed lines, the fluid sphere 2 model as dotted lines, the gravastar 2 model as dash-dotted lines, and two Kerr metrics with spin value of a = −0.9 in orange and a = 0.9 in green.
