Notes. The first column corresponds to the labeling of the curves in Fig. 1. The second indicates whether Durca (D) or only Murca (M) reactions are allowed. The third distinguishes between normal (N) and superfluid (S) neutrons. (The protons are always taken to be normal.) An X in the fourth indicates passive cooling (no heating mechanisms). An X in any of the last three columns indicates that the respective heating mechanism is present. The superfluid neutrons are always assumed to have a gap Δn = 1.5 MeV, and vortex creep is always assumed to have the excess angular momentum J = 3 × 1043 erg s. MSPs are taken to have initial rotation periods P0 = 1 ms, and CPs P0 = 5 ms.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
